Performance testing of Reflectix

Energy conservation and reduction of crude oil and CO2! Actual measurements of three methods: conventional, high airtightness and high insulation, and reflective construction methods.

We would like to introduce the performance tests of our thermal insulation material "Reflectix." We measured three types: traditional, high airtightness and high insulation, and Reflect method. Homes built using the Reflect method with our product show an overwhelming temperature difference between indoors and outdoors compared to the other two methods. 【ISTA 3E】 ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) is one of the international standards widely adopted around the world for the evaluation testing standards of packaged goods, similar to ISO and ASTM. In recent years, its presence has particularly increased in Southeast Asia and China, with more companies adopting ISTA testing standards as their internal standards. Additionally, the international standard for sterilization packaging in medical devices, ISO11607 (JIS T8041), recommends ISTA testing as one of the options for evaluating packaging performance. Performance Testing of Packaging Systems for Medical Devices (ISO 11607)

Regarding the packaging and transportation of medical devices that enter the body (such as scalpels, catheters, syringes, etc.), it is necessary to demonstrate that they are sterile until the packaging is opened in the operating room or similar settings (ISO 11607:2019) and to submit and present test reports from a third-party organization. We will introduce the performance test of alcohol gas decomposition using the photocatalyst "Titanistar." 【Decomposition Performance of Various Alcohol Gases and Cycle Tests】 Base Material: Titanistar MI-W, Titanium Plate 100mm x 100mm, and Titanium Mesh 100mm x 100mm Gas Used: Ethyl Alcohol and Isopropyl Gas, each at 100ppm In a 550ml quartz container, MI-W plate material and EtOH were sealed and exposed to ultraviolet light (1mw/cm²) for 1 hour, measuring the concentration every hour. After the concentration decreased to a certain level, a cycle test was conducted by sealing new gas to evaluate the durability of the photocatalytic film. Tests were also conducted using titanium mesh, IPA plates, and IPA mesh in the same manner. As a result, it was confirmed that various alcohols were decomposed, and the cycle test with new gas sealing also showed no significant difference in decomposition.
